How Does It Work?
CEL-FI mobile signal boosters improve signal between a mobile phone and a mobile network tower, allowing you to have clear voice conversations and a stable data connection.
An external antenna collects the best mobile signal from outside and transmits inside. The unit then strengthens the signal and rebroadcasts it through an internal antenna inside the building.

Is CEL-FI Legal in the UK?
Yes CEL-FI is legal in the UK. CEL-FI products are licence-exempt and fully comply with Ofcom's UK Interface requirement 2101 (IR2102) (UK) and ComReg S.I.No.283 of 2018 (Ireland).
Mobile operators have historically adopted an extremely strict policy against the use of user-installed mobile phone signal repeaters and boosters on their networks as they caused interference and damage to the performance of the networks. It is for this reason that Ofcom consider many mobile signal repeaters illegal. Due to its unique intelligent features, CEL-FI is one of the only user-installable legal mobile phone repeaters permitted in the UK.
Which networks does it work with (and can I switch)?
It works with all major UK networks: EE, O2, Vodafone and Three. It also works with most providers that use those networks (for example Tesco Mobile, Sky, giffgaff etc). You can switch the boosted network in the app in about 30 seconds, but it boosts one network at a time.
Do I need broadband / internet / GPS?
No. The CEL-FI system only needs to have at least 1 bar of native cellular signal, in at least one spot of your home to be able to cover your whole home or office space.
What if I need help setting it up?
If you need a hand, we’re here to help. Our Resources page includes a Quick Start Guide and full product instructions, and you can contact our team for setup support if you get stuck. We also check in a few days after delivery to make sure you’re all set and answer any questions.
Can I return it if it is not right for me?
You can return your order within 14 days of delivery, as long as it’s in as-new, resaleable condition and in the original packaging with all parts included. We recommend doing a “soft install” first (no drilling) to confirm it works for you. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll help you check everything before you commit to a permanent install.
